Rhône Rodeo - GSM

Did you know that one of the largest rodeos in the world takes place each year in Saint-Agrève – about a half-day horse ride from the Rhône River in southern France? We didn't either and when we found out it inspired us to name our blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre Rhône Rodeo. We sourced this fruit from La Vista Vineyard and Hastings Ranch - both in the Adelaida District and about 11 miles west of Paso Robles. Due to the proximity of these vineyards to the coast and their relatively high elevation (about 1,500 feet) these grapes were exposed to more ambient moisture and generally cooler temperatures than the grapes grown elsewhere within the Paso Robles AVA. For this reason, our Rhone Rodeo GSM is a bit more buoyant than your typical Paso GSM - but still with the nice spice and complexity that Paso GSM fans expect.

 

Profits generated through the sale of our Rhône Rodeo GSM are shared with CASA of San Luis Obispo, an organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system.
